CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the Botanical Garden. N.V. Bagrov of the Crimean Federal University, daylilies bloom massively.

Daylily is a summer flowering culture. The selection of the assortment, which includes early, middle and late varieties, allows you to extend the period of decorative culture from late May to early August. Mass flowering of varieties occurs in June-July, when there are few flowering herbaceous perennials in the Crimea and in the south of Russia. This year, such flowering began 7- days later due to a long and cool spring , — the press service of the university quotes the senior researcher of the Botanical Garden of KFU Larisa Reshetnikova.

The name daylily, or daylily, speaks of the brevity of the life of one flower that blooms for only one day. However, in the daylily inflorescence, on average, from 30 to and more flowers that bloom for 1-1.5 months.
