Deadly accident on the Simferopol-Evpatoria highway: all participants in the accident died

Police are investigating the fatal accident. An accident that claimed the lives of the drivers of a motorcycle and a compact van (commercial vehicle — an analogue of the domestic “pie”), occurred this evening (at 18:35) on the 49th km of the Simferopol — Evpatoria highway, near the city of Saki.

The driver, born in 1972, driving a Fiat Doblo car, moving from Simferopol in the direction of Evpatoria, when making a left turn, did not give priority to the driver of the Kawasaki motorcycle, born in 1982, as a result of which a collision occurred. As a result of a traffic accident, both drivers died on the spot before the ambulance arrived— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Saki region worked at the scene of the incident. An investigation is being carried out and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
