The police are conducting an investigation into a fatal accident on the Simferopol — Krasnoperekopsk highway. The accident occurred the previous day at 16:00.
The driver, born in 1966, while driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee, when turning, did not give way to a moving Nissan Almera vehicle driven by a driver, born in 1984, and caused a collision with it. As a result of a traffic accident, a passenger in a Nissan Almera vehicle, born in 1986, was fatally injured; a passenger, born in 2007, was injured and was taken to a medical facility.— reported the traffic police.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules by a person driving a vehicle, resulting in the death of a person through negligence).
