Decided: members of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol approved the heads of specialized commissions

On April 5, at a meeting of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol, the heads of specialized commissions were elected — they will oversee areas of support for participants in the special operation, volunteer movement, youth projects, ecology, interact with the media, and resolve issues of a confessional nature.

The Public Chamber is the most important instrument of civil society. I think that the members of the Civic Chamber will be able to convey to the Government and the Legislative Assembly problems that require attention and a quick solution, and most importantly, the most developed and necessary initiatives from Sevastopol residents. Of course, now the most pressing issue is the support of our members of the NWO and their families, I am sure that the public will be engaged in this important mission as well. The chamber also has an important task — to convey the initiatives of the Hero City to the federal level. The work ahead is very serious, but for my part I guarantee full cooperation, since for me the Civic Chamber is one of the most important platforms where public initiatives will be formulated and discussed— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Also at the meeting, the deputy chairmen of the chamber were elected — they were Natalya Kiryukhina and Denis Kondratiev.

Since March 26, we have taken a break to determine who will work in which commissions, and consultations have been held. Today we continued to work, tasks were set. In many areas, members of the Public Chamber will already begin to work and involve citizens in these processes. The Chamber will be open: we have such a form as the creation of working groups, which should be headed by one of the members of the Public Chamber, and experts in any field can be involved— notes Alexander Troshev, Chairman of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol.

Recall that the term of office of members of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol is three years from the date of the first meeting of elected members. During last meeting the chairman of the chamber and the representative of the city in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation were elected.
