Demand for specialists with secondary vocational education grew 1.5 times a year

With the development of industry, the need for employers in experts of applied professions is increasing — the number of vacancies, where the requirements indicate the presence of secondary vocational education (SPI), continues to grow. According to Avito, in the spring of 2025, the number of ads for graduates of secondary schools over the year increased by more than 1.5 times (+58%).

The largest increase in the number of proposals on work involving the availability of STRs is traditionally recorded in the field of working and applied specialties, especially in the field of construction and industry. So, 2 times (+100%) per year increased the number of sentences for finishes. The average salary for this category of workers at full employment amounted to 145,800 rubles/month.

More often, defectoscopists (+76%) began to be required — they work in industries and reveal hidden defects in metals, welds and structures using non -destructive control methods. The average salary offers for new employees for the full day amounted to 76,363 rubles/month.

At the same time, a steady demand for qualified specialists with higher education continues to be observed in the labor market, but the dynamics of the growth of vacancies in this segment remains moderate. Over the year, the number of proposals increased by 11%.

In the spring of this year, the largest increase in vacancies for university graduates was recorded among technologists (+42%)-they are mainly required for food and pharmaceutical production and enterprises producing household chemicals. For a full time, novice specialists were offered an average of 67,036 rubles/month, and these salary offers are relevant for younger specialists with experience up to 1-3 years. In senior positions, the proposed income can be several times higher than the indicated values.
