Demand for summer holidays in Crimea exceeds last year's figures
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the month since the attack on Sevastopol on June 23, the dynamics of Crimean hotel bookings has slowed down, but still remains positive compared to last summer. Crimean host companies also rate the current season as more successful than last year. At the same time, tourists have no complaints about the quality of service— quotes the RST message. TASS.
According to Travelline, throughout the spring and early summer, Crimea demonstrated a 53% increase in bookings compared to last year. As of July 1, this figure had dropped to 24% compared to last year, and today it has dropped a little more — to 20%. At the same time, Crimea generally maintains high sales rates, and on certain dates even outpaces Krasnodar Krai, the union noted.
Active bookings are largely explained by the pricing policy of local accommodation facilities, experts explained. As reported by Travelline, the cost of accommodation in Crimean hotels has increased by an average of 7% compared to last year. At the same time, hotels in the Krasnodar Territory have increased in price by 20%.
