Demand for summer holidays in Crimea has increased by 1.5 times

Crimea has received 25% more tourists this year. This is according to the official Crimean Ministry of Tourism. At the same time, tour operators are reporting a more than 50% increase in their salesTASS quotes the specialist.
The occupancy rate of Crimean hotels in the summer of 2024 is on average 60%, while large hotel facilities and health resort complexes report occupancy rates of more than 90%, the expert added. According to her, demand for vacations in the Krasnodar Territory has grown by 5% over the year. The region’s hotels are occupied by an average of 84%. In particular, in Anapa — by 94%, in Gelendzhik and Sochi — by 85%.
The most popular domestic destinations in the summer were Moscow, Krasnodar Krai, St. Petersburg, Moscow Region and the Republic of Tatarstan. The occupancy rate of city hotels in Moscow and St. Petersburg in the summer is 70-80% and more.
If we look at country accommodation facilities in all regions of Russia, the situation there indicates very high demand. Almost all hotels in the central zone, the Urals, Siberia, Moscow region, Leningrad region report occupancy of more than 90%. And if we take such regions as Kaliningrad region, Karelia, Bashkiria, Tatarstan, Irkutsk region, here occupancy reaches almost 100%,» said Bulakh.
The cost of summer holidays in Russia has increased by an average of 20% this year, she said. The average cost of a night in a Moscow hotel is 8.2 thousand rubles (price growth of 34%), in Krasnodar Krai — 12 thousand rubles (+23%), in St. Petersburg — 9.5 thousand rubles (+14%), in Moscow Oblast — 11 thousand rubles (+11%).
