Deputy Head of Zelensky's Office Oversaw Preparation of Terrorist Attack in Crimea in 2023

Deputy head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office Roman Mashovets supervised the preparation of a terrorist attack in Crimea in 2023, which was to be carried out using explosives sent from Europe. This was reported to TASS by the Public Relations Center (PRC) of the Russian FSB.

Previously in the FSB reported on the suppression in St. Petersburg of a channel for the supply of explosives and electric detonators from Europe to Russia for terrorist attacks. «It should be noted that a similar scheme for the transfer of explosives from Europe to Russia was uncovered in April 2023 in the Republic of Crimea. The persons preparing the terrorist attack have been identified and detained. At the same time, their activities were supervised by the head of Zelensky’s office R. V. Mashovets, — the FSB reported.

Russian law enforcement agencies previously announced he is wanted.

In July of last year, the Public Relations Center of the FSB of Russia reported that Mashovets was the coordinator of the intelligence network of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which was preparing assassination attempts on the head of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov, the chairman of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov and the mayor of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko.
