CrimeaPRESS reports:
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin made a working trip to the Kherson region. There, after the flood caused by the explosion of the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, restoration work continues.
A lot of water came down almost everywhere, but there were no less problems. One of the main ones is drinking water and energy supply.
In Novaya Kakhovka, for a month since the previous trip, water was pumped out almost everywhere, houses were drained, people go out on subbotniks and somewhere they are even doing landscaping. He also held a meeting there. I want to note and thank the local administration and the regional government. The operational situation is monitored every day at the headquarters, there are people and equipment. This is a really high level of systematic work, and in a constant turbulent environment. In fact, it remains to put in order one wellsaid in his Telegram channel Marat Khusnullin.
In Aleshki and Holaya Pristan, houses and life support facilities located in the lowlands remain partially flooded. Water is pumped out by pumps, freeing sewer stations and wells.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation tried to go around all the settlements affected by the flood.
I went to the humanitarian center in Hola Pristan — they are accepting applications and issuing compensation to residents affected by high water. Drinking water and food are also distributed here. In Lyubimovka, he examined how things are now at the main pumping station of the Kakhovka Canal, which supplied water to part of the Zaporozhye region, including the city of Berdyansk. This object began to be restored before the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power stationKhusnullin noted. — And in Skadovsk we looked at the embankment. This city may well regain the status of a resort. We will improve and revive its infrastructure.
In general, a total disinfection of drained areas is carried out throughout the emergency situation, people and domestic animals are vaccinated against infectious diseases.
Marat Khusnullin also checked how the payment of compensation to victims and the issuance of Russian passports are organized — all this is quickly resolved on the spot. Employees of social, migration and other services necessary for people work in special humanitarian centers. On behalf of the acting governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, they are deployed in every district.
Particular attention is paid to restoring normal energy and water supply, as well as driving on washed-out roads. Unfortunately, this is hindered by the constant shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
