Design and survey work on the construction of an ecotechnopark will begin in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, this year, design and survey work will begin on the construction of an ecotechnopark for the processing and disposal of municipal solid waste. The issue of financing these events was discussed at a government meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. A resolution on the redistribution of budgetary funds was adopted.

The design will be completed at the beginning of next year, so we do not need all the funds this year, we leave only the part that the designers will need for advance payment, and we will provide for the second part in the next year’s budget— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The released funds will be used to design the reclamation of old solid waste landfills in the Mekenzievy mountains and in Yukharinaya balka.

Recall that landfill reclamation is currently underway at the Suzdal Heights — completion is planned for this year, as well as in Trenzina Balka — work will continue here in 2024. The liquidation of unauthorized landfills is carried out within the framework of the regional project «Clean Country» of the national project «Ecology».
