Designers and artists of Tavrida created a new art object in Sudak

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» (project «Tavrida.ART») completed the educational program «Visual Communication and Improvement of the Urban Environment», in which young designers and artists added color to the territory of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sudak. Now, on one of the walls, residents and tourists can see a mural dedicated to the brave heroes who save human lives every day.

The educational program “Visual Communication and Improvement of the Urban Environment” brought together 25 graphic designers, architects and environmental designers from August 1 to 12 at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries. Young specialists worked in two specialized areas «Design» and «Improvement» on cases that will be further considered for implementation.

During the days of the program, graphic designers were engaged in the development of visual communication objects: tourist posters, sightseeing kiosks, booklets, landing pages of the city website. A separate area of work was cooperation with the department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Throughout the educational season, employees of the EMERCOM of Russia ensure the safety of the Tavrida art cluster in several areas at once — this is round-the-clock combat duty and preventive work, including briefings on the rules of safe behavior in various emergency situations, providing assistance and using primary means firefighting.

As part of the educational program «Visual Communication and Improvement of the Urban Environment», young designers worked on the creation of visual materials — banners, posters with social advertising and information booklets. The main task for the participants was to create layouts in a modern style, so that they were visually accessible and attractive. In addition, designers and artists created a mural on the territory of the Ministry of Emergency Situations — bright graffiti depicting employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. This project was created in collaboration with the association of artists and creators DESARTE365, which promotes street art, creates collaborations with brands, and holds festivals of an all-Russian scale. The association is a large group of artists and creators who come up with and implement any projects: from installations to line art. Artists’ works are presented all over Russia from the North Pole to the Crimean peninsula.

I was surprised by the maturity of ideas and the practical orientation of the participants’ work. All this can and should be applied in Sudak. Their fresh look sets a new vector for the development of the city. Therefore, we will definitely use ideas and developments. Young specialists should work with practical problems, because they are the future creators. I really liked the work on the case for the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The participants had certain requests and limits, but nevertheless they were able to creatively approach the task.— said Kirill Skorokhodov, deputy head of the administration of the city of Sudak.

The Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom», on the site of which the training takes place, is a new concept of an educational environment for young representatives of culture, art and creative industries, which has become the core of the youth and educational resort «Tavrida.ART» (project of Rosmolodezh) and one of the leading platforms Russia to create projects in the field of creative industries. The year-round educational center allows young creators to receive professional education under the supervision of recognized leaders in the field and take part in interactive projects prepared in collaboration with leading institutions and corporate partners.
