Details and consequences of the missile attack on Sevastopol. Information from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a missile strike on Sevastopol not at night (as usual), but in broad daylight, around noon, also on a day off, and also on the Orthodox holiday of the Trinity. These were NATO ATACMS missiles with a very short approach time. They hit Sevastopol in a straight line — from the Odessa region, a distance of 273 km was covered in 4-5 minutes (at a rocket speed of almost 4000 km/h). The likely target was the Belbek airfield. But the blow fell on the beach, crowded with people. Another “tough thing” is that the missiles had a cassette “filling”, that is, intended for the maximum destruction of people and equipment. As is known, people were hurt, there are dead (an elderly woman and a small child). Unfortunately, the number of victims is increasing.
Around 12.15 p.m., the Kyiv regime carried out a terrorist attack on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Sevastopol with US-supplied ATACMS operational-tactical missiles equipped with cluster warheads. While repelling a terrorist attack by air defense forces on duty, four American ATACMS missiles were shot down.
Another missile, as a result of the impact of air defense systems at the final stage, deviated from the flight path and detonated the warhead in the air over the city territory. More than 20 civilians, including children, were injured as a result of falling fragments of cluster submunitions— reported to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Two civilians, including a two-year-old child, died as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on Sevastopol, and another 22 people were injured. Russian air defense systems shot down five targets in the sky, but fragments fell on the coastal area.
More about the consequences of the missile strike: in the Uchkuevka area, a forest belt caught fire and a residential building caught fire. By latest data, announced by the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the number of deaths increased to 3 people. Two children and one adult died. The number of victims is about one hundred people.
