According to updated information from the State Traffic Inspectorate, this morning at 57 km + 600 m of the Yalta-Sevastopol highway, a 58-year-old Hyundai driver, when entering the oncoming lane, collided with a Toyota car, driven by a 50-year-old driver, who was moving in the opposite direction in his lane. The Toyota driver was not injured.
Further, the Hyundai driver continued driving and at 59 km + 500 m of the road collided with an Opel passenger car, driven by a 20-year-old driver, and a GAK car, driven by a 35-year-old driver, which were moving in the opposite direction in their own direction. strip. The drivers of the vehicles were not injured.
Having left the next accident scene, the Hyundai driver proceeded in the direction of the city of Sevastopol and at 60 km + 400 m of the road drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Hyundai minibus driven by a 37-year-old driver who was moving in his own lane— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
As a result of this accident, the driver of the car and a 39-year-old passenger in the minibus died. The 37-year-old driver and 38-year-old passenger of the minibus received injuries of varying severity. All victims were promptly transported to health care facilities for medical care.
Based on the fact of the accident, employees of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
