The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate and the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided details of the accident on the Simferopol-Alushta highway, which occurred on Sunday morning (at 8:20) within the boundaries of the village of Pionerskoye.
The driver, born in 1990, driving the BA3-21102 vehicle, moving from Parnikovaya Street in the village of Pionerskoye, at an unregulated intersection of unequal roads, moving along a secondary road, did not give way to the Daewoo Nexia vehicle driven by the driver, born in 2004, who was moving along the main road, from Alushta in the direction of Simferopol, and collided with it, after which fragments of the damaged vehicles damaged the Volkswagen Jetta vehicle, which was parked outside the roadway in the parking lot of a store— the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported.
As a result of the accident, the VAZ received fatal damage — the car was simply torn into two parts. The Daewoo also needs serious repairs. The injured drivers were hospitalized. Their condition is serious. The employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea assisted medical workers in transporting the injured.
