Development of Sevastopol and implementation of new national projects: the topic of Marat Khusnullin's visit to the city

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin held a meeting in Sevastopol on July 12, dedicated to the socio-economic development and implementation of new national projects in our region. The meeting was attended by: Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, representatives of federal agencies, members of the Sevastopol government, heads of organizations.

We have a global strategic goal: the President has set the task of forming new national projects. Therefore, Mikhail Vladimirovich Razvozhaev and his team, as well as federal authorities, and I discussed in great detail which national projects Sevastopol will participate in and how to link the region’s socio-economic development program with the new national projects in order to achieve maximum effect. Based on the results of the first half of the year, Sevastopol has demonstrated good results: thanks to the efforts of the Governor and the City Government, many facilities have been completed. We see a reserve for the next three years with a perspective up to 2030, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Marat Khusnullin.

In the first half of 2024, the construction of the 8th stage of the Tavrida highway, three overground pedestrian crossings, and the Martynovsky sewer collector were completed in Sevastopol. The construction of a multifunctional cultural and leisure center in Kazachya Bay, gasification of the villages of the Baydarskaya Valley (Ozernoye village, low pressure), reconstruction of the central heating station with the installation of a block-modular boiler house on Shevchenko Street and other objects are at a high degree of readiness.

Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the high assessment of the work. The head of the city emphasized that the program of socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol will help achieve the goals of the new national projects — in particular, the project «Infrastructure for Life».

Marat Shakirzyanovich held not just a meeting to sum up the results: this was the first discussion of the strategic issues facing us. The new national project «Infrastructure for Life», which is currently being formed on the instructions of the president, is a key project for providing the entire infrastructure for managing the city. And now our socio-economic development program, aimed at solving problems in the social and communal infrastructure, will now work in conjunction with national projects — in order to provide the city with a new quality of life. This should be linked to the General Plan, work on which is now being completed. We must maximally involve all the tools for implementing the strategy— notes Mikhail Razvozhaev.

As part of the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia visited the construction site on Mys Khrustalny. A cultural cluster is being built here, including an opera and ballet theater, a choreography academy, and a museum complex.
