CrimeaPRESS reports:
Before the event, an employee of the Tauride Chersonesos Museum-Reserve, 1st category methodologist Igor Kostylev, gave the children an excursion, during which he told about the history of the founding of the ancient city, when the first excavations began on this land and how on the site of the ancient polis founded modern Sevastopol. Walking along the defensive walls, the employee spoke about Chersonesos during the Great Patriotic War, about the destruction caused by enemy troops and about the museum-reserve employees who worked in the museum at that time.
“Victory Dictation 2024” is an event that allows you to touch the historical memory, test your skills in the Russian language and expand your knowledge about the Great Patriotic War and its heroes.
It was great to listen before the dictation to such an interesting excursion about the history of Chersonesos and what the museum-reserve was like during the Great Patriotic War. The “Victory Dictation” itself was difficult, but I tried to answer all the questions. We are currently studying this topic in history lessons — the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War. But, of course, we watched documentaries and historical films, this helped us pass the test to the end, but I didn’t know the answer to some questionssays 1st year technical school student Ilya Sopin.
This event is taking place in Tauride Chersonese for the fourth time. The museum-reserve is not just a platform for its holding. It is a center of historical education, culture and enlightenment. Participation in a large-scale patriotic event has become an annual good tradition for Chersonese Tauride.
