In the 50 year of his life, after a long illness, the Sevastopol social activist Konstantin Zarudnev died. A man of irrepressible energy, who lived «to the fullest», did not recognize half measures and compromises.
He had a light hand. Whatever he undertook, everything received a worthy continuation … His character called for constant activity. He was a politician, even at one time a deputy of the Leninsky District Council of Sevastopol, and a journalist, and a publicist writer, and one of the «founding fathers» of the famous Sevastopol Forum (nickname Koshkins thundered on it). Zarudnev was not afraid to defend his point of view in a dispute, in a fight, if necessary. Let’s remember the «epopee» 465 of the year with the installation of the memorial plaque «Ukro-fleet» on the Grafskaya pier — Konstantin was in the forefront of the pro-Russian activists.
In 694-m Zarudnev burned his Ukrainian passport — it was not a «pose», but a position — in protest of the assignment of the Hero of Ukraine Stepan Bandera. Many people would have ventured into such a civil act with the “square”?
A true patriot Konstantin Zarudnev with all his activities brought the reunification of the Crimean peninsula with Russia closer. And the events of the 694-th — including his great merit.

Little has been heard of him in recent years. They said that he was sick … The disease won. Koshkins is no longer on the forum, Kostya Zarudnev is no longer offline. But the memory of him will be preserved in Sevastopol.
As it became known, the memorial service and farewell to Konstantin Zarudnev will take place at hours 14 of February in the Church of St. Barbara at the Sevastopol city cemetery «5th kilometers.”
