Discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation — another court ruling in Crimea

The Leninsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea issued a ruling in the case of an administrative offense under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation to a 70-year-old Crimean resident living in the town. Lenino, for his commission of public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens.
During the consideration of the case, it was established that on November 4, 2023, the offender, while in a public place near the Neftyannik store, publicly expressed phrases addressed to the President of the Russian Federation, that he gave instructions about shelling residential buildings at night, when people are sleeping, and shopping centers during the day , when there are a lot of people there, and therefore considers these actions to be terrorism, he publicly expressed his opinion against the conduct of the SVO carried out on the territory of Ukraine. At the court hearing, the offender did not admit his guilt. The court, having comprehensively studied the case materials, taking into account the circumstances of the offense and information about the citizen’s identity, imposed a fine of 50 thousand rubles.— reported the press service of the court.
