Discrediting the use of the Russian Armed Forces in parental chat: Crimean woman will pay a fine

The Leninsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea issued a ruling in the case of an administrative offense under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation 30-year-old Crimean woman living in the village. Vinogradnoye, Leninsky district, for her commission of public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens.

During the consideration of the case, it was established that on November 15, 2023, the offender, while in her home using a mobile phone, posted photos and messages, and under the photo was the flag of Ukraine with the words “Glory to Ukraine” and a signature with obscene language addressed to the state of the Russian Federation. This message was posted in the Telegram messenger of the parent chat, in which there were 19 participants, where these messages became available for viewing to all users, thereby discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, that is, it carried out a public action aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the purpose of protection interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security— reported the press service of the court.

At the court hearing, the offender fully admitted her guilt and repented of her crime.

The court, having comprehensively studied the materials of the case, taking into account the circumstances of the offense, information about the identity of the citizen, imposed a penalty in the form of a fine in the amount of 50 thousand rubles.

The resolution did not enter into legal force.
