Dmitry Andreev from Sevastopol won silver in the ultra-swim in the Krasnodar region

The international open water swimming tournament “Swimcup Beeline Anapa 2024 Champions Cup” took place in Sukko, Krasnodar Territory.

95 athletes from 15 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from neighboring countries, took part in the competition. The sea water temperature was +16.3 degrees, the air temperature was +18 degrees, sunny. The swims were held at three distances — 1000, 2000 and 3000 m. Sevastopolets Dmitry Andreev (men 60-64 years old), representing the team of veterans of sports swimming «RNKB Masters», entered the 3000 m distance («Ultra»), and with a result of 56 minutes. 27.43 sec. took second placereports Crimean Sport.

The next start — Swimstar Double Mile Gelendzhik 2024 — will take place in Gelendzhik on June 2.

The RNKB Masters team of sports swimming veterans was officially registered on May 15, 2024. Currently, it includes 22 athletes from different regions of Russia (average age — 54 years).
