Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated school graduates on the holiday

On June 28-29, graduation ceremonies are taking place in Russian schools. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated graduates on the holiday. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted that more than 2 million 300 thousand ninth- and eleventh-graders are graduating from schools these days. Many of them will continue their education in universities and secondary vocational education organizations.
This year, more than 1.2 thousand universities and 3.8 thousand colleges in our country are expecting graduates. Most recently, President Vladimir Putin approved priority areas of scientific and technological development and a list of the most important high-tech technologies. They show which vectors will be the most important for our country in the coming years and will help guide graduates to choose the right direction— the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
The priority areas of scientific and technological development in Russia include those related to energy, medicine, agriculture, information security, climate, transport, communications, and education.
According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea, this year there are 9,123 11th grade graduates, 18,559 9th grade graduates.
