International Master from Simferopol Dmitry Kryakvin became the bronze medalist of the Southern Federal District Chess Championship among men in rapid chess. Competitions were held in Krasnodar.

In total 75 chess players from five subjects of the Southern Federal District fought for the title. Dmitry Kryakvin scored 7 points in 9 rounds, and only by additional indicators lost the silver medal to Maxim Lugovsky from Krasnodar.
