In accordance with the national standard of Russia “Tourist services. Beach services. General requirements” on the beach, additional services related to the creation of amenities for visitors, including the rental of beach umbrellas, sun loungers, mattresses and towels, can be organized. According to the order of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea No. 14‑р dated May 2022 of the year «On Amendments to the Order of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea dated May 2019 year No. 545‑r”, on the public beaches on the peninsula, it is not allowed to place non-stationary shopping facilities and sun loungers provided for a fee on an area exceeding 40% of active beach area. The placement of non-stationary shopping facilities and sunbeds should not create obstacles for the passage of citizens to the sea.
Employees of the administration of Evpatoria, as a result of a survey of the territory, found that the area occupied by sun loungers provided for a fee, as a whole, does not exceed the established norms. At the same time, there is enough space on the beach to accommodate beach accessories for vacationers who do not want to use sun lounger rental services.
