The organizers told the townspeople about the detrimental consequences of drinking alcohol. Doctors explained to everyone the principle of the negative impact of ethyl alcohol on the human body, as well as the mechanism of addiction formation. The organizers of the action paid special attention to work with young people. For clarity, posters were used, volunteers distributed thematic leaflets and memos to the residents of the capital. At the same time, a survey was conducted on the topic of the attitude of citizens to the use of alcoholic beverages, the results of which were discussed with each respondent individually , — said the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
As Vladimir Meshcheryakov, chief freelance specialist of the Crimean Ministry of Health for medical prevention, noted, there is no safe dose of alcohol for health. The use of strong drinks is especially dangerous for an unformed child’s body. In order to form a conscious attitude towards their health in a teenager, adults should set a personal example in terms of adherence to a healthy lifestyle.
In addition, during the action, medical workers and volunteers showed the townspeople the methods of providing first aid in various life-threatening conditions. For this, special mannequins were used. Simferopol residents were actively interested in how to properly provide first aid to the victim before the arrival of doctors, so as not to worsen his condition and increase the chances of salvation. According to the Chairman of the Crimean regional branch of the RKK Vladimir Bauchkin, all people should have the skills to provide first aid, it is necessary to learn this from school years.
