Doctors from Crimea took part in the XXIV Congress of the Russian Society of Urology

The Congress annually brings together doctors from all over the country, as well as from near and far abroad, to exchange experiences and learn about the latest achievements in the field of urology. This year, over 2,000 specialists from all over the country took part in the event. The scientific program of the event traditionally covered a wide range of issues in urological practice. Participants discussed the possibilities of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases, new trends in the treatment of urolithiasis, prostate hyperplasia, malignant neoplasms and infections in urology, andrological and urogynecological pathologies. During the congress, innovations in urological practice were presented: achievements and possibilities of drug therapy, reconstructive plastic surgery, digital technologies in urology, including achievements of Russian urology, — reported the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.

During the three days of the congress, more than 500 scientific reports were presented, 3 plenary sessions, 27 sectional sessions, 28 schools of the Russian Society of Urology, as well as HANDS-ON training, a charity mini-football tournament and much more took place. Urologists managed to gain new knowledge, expand their circle of professional contacts, and exchange professional opinions with colleagues on topical issues of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases.
