Sevastopol police are conducting an investigation into the massacre of a stray dog.
A local resident contacted the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Balaklava region with a statement about the discovery of the corpse of a stray dog with signs of violent death. The woman said that at about 13:00 she arrived in the village of Ternovka to feed the dogs. On one of the outbuildings she found the body of a dead dog.
A few hours later, the volunteer contacted the police, and an investigative team from the Department of Internal Affairs immediately arrived at the scene. At the place indicated by the woman, the body of the dog was missing. Currently, police have inspected the scene of the incident, are establishing the circumstances of the incident and searching for those involved in the massacre of the animal.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made in accordance with current legislation.
