The downpour was torrential. The big water is already coming down. The utilities took over. There are flooded houses, damaged cars, washed out roads and public areas.
Recall that on 19–20 August, a storm warning was announced in Crimea due to expected heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail and squally wind until 15–20 m/s. The Ministry of Emergency Situations indicated that due to bad weather, water levels could rise in the rivers of the northern foothills (where Simferopol is located) and the southern coast of the peninsula.
