Dozens of… janitors and public utilities became “victims” of the Migrant police raid in Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the Crimea, the police conducted another verification raid «Migrant». Simferopol police officers delivered 31 citizens to the regional departments. Of these, 29 people turned out to be citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1 was a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, and one stateless person was also identified (documented by a USSR passport). Almost all of the detainees were «at work» — in orange vests, brooms, shovels. Proceedings are still pending with employers of migrants.

In relation to 20 citizens, the police officers drew up 31 protocols on administrative offenses: 12 protocols under Art. 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules for entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation”; 10 protocols under Art. 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation «Illegal employment by a foreign citizen or stateless person in the Russian Federation»; 9 protocols under Art. 18.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation «Violation of immigration rules»— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

Foreign citizens who have committed violations of migration legislation are subject to administrative penalties in the form of fines ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 rubles, with administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation.
