Drone assembly and repair workshops are being developed in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimean fighters from the front line shared that drones restored in Crimean folk workshops helped carry out a series of combat missions for reconnaissance of the area. Several fighter drones were restored free of charge by the Crimean master together with the Popular Front.
I still can’t believe that our drones were saved. This is a very expensive technique, without which we are like without eyes. The performance quality of refurbished drones is at the same level as immediately after purchase. Just the other day, thanks to this, it was possible to complete a combat mission at zero near the enemy— shares the Crimean fighter with the call sign “Tiger”.
The number of folk workshops in Crimea is increasing. They are organized by both ordinary Kulibins and soldiers of our units who are on rotation in Crimea.
We don’t just assemble kamikaze drones and restore commercial copters, but we ourselves try to apply the best practices. This includes a hexocopter, essentially the same “Baba Yaga,” and aircraft-type drones. Soldiers highly value such equipment at the front. In the near future, we want to expand our testing capabilities for this equipment for fighters, so that before being sent to the North Military District zone, they already have the necessary piloting experience,” notes a Crimean fighter with the call sign “Grog.”
Applications for assistance in restoring drones and, first of all, in transferring additional equipment are received regularly.
We have new partners who are engaged in the development of drones in Kulibin, while the existing workshops continue to work. Of course, words of great gratitude to the craftsmen who really invest themselves in the business of “drones”. Soldiers from different units value this direction very highly; in the near future we are planning joint combat tests with another developer, in which fighters from 3 different types of troops want to participate at oncesays the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in Crimea, Alla Vertinskaya.
