Guests will learn about the medieval Chersonese-Kherson-Korsun in the Byzantine exposition. The guide will tell you about the exhibits illustrating medieval crafts: metal and stone processing, glassmaking, pottery. The pride of the museum collection is glazed ceramics of the 9th–14th centuries, which replaced the antique black-glazed and red-glazed pottery. On graceful bowls, dishes, jugs real and fantastic animals, vegetative and geometrical motives, mythological plots are represented. The guide will tell you about the Russian-Korsun ties, the apogee of which was the military campaign and the baptism of Prince Vladimir in Korsun.
