In Yevpatoria, the police “catch” turned out to be even more significant (in every sense).

Employees of the drug control department of the Russian Department of Internal Affairs for the city of Evpatoria, as a result of checking operational information, detained a 24-year-old Evpatorian while setting up drug caches. Using the coordinates available on the detainee’s phone, police officers found two packages with a white powdery substance. In addition, the police detained a more experienced accomplice of the detainee — a 27-year-old woman, previously convicted of drug trafficking, a native of Murmansk. In the criminal tandem, the detainee played the role of “senior link”: it was she who purchased drug raw materials in bulk, packaged them, and, together with the detainee, equipped hiding places. The suspect showed the place where she kept illegal substances. According to the specified data, operational officers seized more than 160 grams of “salt”— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
