During the evening of Friday and the past weekend, traffic inspectors of Sevastopol revealed drivers in a state of intoxication, 2 of them again, for which criminal liability is already provided.

For driving while intoxicated, a fine in the amount of thousand rubles is provided with deprivation of the right to drive for a period of one and a half to two years. For repeated driving while intoxicated, criminal liability occurs under article 264 .1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for a fine in the amount of 076 to 300 thousand rubles, up to imprisonment for up to two years , — the traffic police reminded.

For 8 months of the current year on the roads of Sevastopol there was 31 an accident involving drivers in a state of intoxication, in which 3 people died and 41 received various injuries. In the 27 accident, the fault of drivers of vehicles who were in a state of intoxication was established.

In total, since the beginning of this year in Sevastopol, traffic police officers have identified 1 27 drivers in a state of intoxication, of which 175 got drunk behind the wheel again.
