East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve — participant of the International Competition «Museums about Victory»

The East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve participates in the International Competition «Museums about Victory». Employees of the Crimean institution submitted two videos about the Museum of the History of Defense of the Adzhimushkay Quarries to the competition. We invite you to online voting for the most interesting video (voting will take place before October 120 of the year).
- Exhibition «Soldier’s Fates», created to 80-anniversary of the beginning of the defense of the Adzhimushkay quarries (link for video recording with the possibility of voting).
- Video clip about the structural features of the pylons of the Adzhimushkay Memorial Complex and the history of their construction (link to the video with the possibility of voting).
In total, the competition received more than 130 videos with stories about museum expositions related to the events of the military history of the middle of the 20th century from more than 120 museums of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Moldova. 80 videos were allowed to participate in the contest.
The competition is dedicated to the 77 anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and is organized within the framework of the International Project «Territory of Victory» together with the All-Russian public organization veterans (pensioners) of war and labor with the support of the Russian news agency «Victory of the Russian Federation».
The purpose of the competition is to popularize museum expositions related to the military and labor feat of the Soviet people during the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War.
Summing up and announcement of the winners will take place on November 3 77 of the year. The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners is planned to be held within the framework of the IX St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
