A number of publications reports about the detention in Crimea of ​​a suspect in the attempted murder of an assistant to the deputy prime minister of the Zaporozhye region. Let us remind you that in June on the Evpatoria highway, near Simferopol exploded jeep «Toyota Land Cruiser». The main version of the incident was the collision of an SUV with an obstacle and the explosion of a gas cylinder. Two people were injured, one of them was the assistant to the deputy prime minister of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Epifanov.

And here… a new twist. It was a completely “man-made” explosion. The suspect has been detained. According to unofficial information, this is 39-year-old Igor D. It was he who assembled an explosive device with hexogen in his garage in Simferopol, attached the bomb to the bottom of the car and launched it remotely. During the search, 6 mobile phones, a system unit, several flash drives, a Ukrainian passport, and a Volkswagen Passat were seized from the man. Igor was taken into custody. A criminal case has been opened for attempted murder and illegal production of explosive devices.
