Ecological literacy hours are held in Sevastopol schools

Today, the first eco-hours dedicated to the separate collection of waste in the city took place in Sevastopol schools. Their goal is to form a culture of saving resources and maintaining the environment among students, to develop skills in an economic relationship to the world around them.
Pupils ask a lot of questions about separate waste collection, about how waste is disposed of in the city of Sevastopol, and information from environmental specialists who take part in the lessons is very important. The children learn how to properly sort garbage, what household waste is, how to prepare waste for recycling. They are really interested in this topic, which cannot but rejoice— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, a teacher of biology and chemistry at school No. 38, Natalya Kuznetsova.
At the lesson, school students expanded their knowledge about household waste, got acquainted with the rules for separate collection of garbage and the rules for sorting it, and also took part in a workshop on this topic. affairs of youth and sports of the city.
