Ecostart environmental games were held for Sevastopol schoolchildren
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Schoolchildren from 12 to 16 years old took part in an exciting game that develops not only environmental skills, but also fosters responsibility for preserving the nature of their native land. The event was organized by the institution of additional education and the Center for Ecological and Naturalistic Creativity of Students.
A number of active schools have already formed in Sevastopol, which participate in all events throughout the year, this year there are more of them, the dynamics are positive and this is encouraging. Caring for the environment begins with each of us. We try to attract as many schoolchildren as possible to our events, to show them that every resident can contribute to the conservation of nature. Holidays are a great time to play games like this.– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the center’s methodologist Vera Kozhukh.
Environmental games were held according to route sheets. The teams had to go through four locations: an educational video quiz “Flora and fauna of protected areas”, a creative workshop “Developing a sketch of a product in a bionic style”, practical tasks on the topic: “Bread traditions in Rus’, the beneficial properties of grain crops”, practice rendering first aid in case of emergency.»
I am concerned about the topic of ecology. Our world is so fragile, we need to take care of it. Here we discover and learn new things, and also exchange experiences. Some of my classmates showed themselves to be very active in the game at locations, I was pleasantly surprisedsaid participant Alina.
Throughout the entire school year, the Sevastopol Center for Ecological and Naturalistic Creativity of Students teaches children and youth a responsible attitude towards the nature of their native land, and forms an ecological approach to the problems of environmental management. Such events help to consolidate theory into practice.
