Educational program: providing information about the copyright holder of a property from the Unified State Register of Real Estate at the request of a former spouse

CrimeaPRESS reports:

It is reported, in particular, that the personal data of the copyright holder of the property is provided to his spouse if there is a marriage relationship (in other words, at the time of submitting a request for the provision of data about the copyright holder of the property as part of extracts from the Unified State Register of Real Estate, the applicant must be in a registered marriage with the copyright holder of the property real estate, information about which is requested, that is, the marriage must not be terminated by the specified time). However, within the framework of the current legal regulation, persons whose marriage has been terminated are not granted such a right.

For persons who have a corresponding material and legal interest, but do not have the right to receive information from the Unified State Register of Limited Access, Federal Law dated July 13, 2015 N 218-FZ “On State Registration of Real Estate” (Part 14.1 of Article 62) provides for a mechanism for obtaining information about the owner of the property.
