Electricity supply has been fully restored in Alushta
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Emergency work to restore power supply in the city of Alushta and adjacent settlements has been completed. Consumers have been fully connected— the press service quotes Maxim Shklyarsky.
Earlier, the head of the Alushta administration, Galina Ogneva, reported that the entire city was without power due to an accident on high-voltage lines outside Yalta. About 49 thousand residents were left without electricity. As Shklyarsky reported, due to a technological failure in the 110 kV network, a high-voltage substation was disconnected. The prosecutor’s office began an investigation into the observance of citizens’ rights.
In July, due to abnormal heat in the region, accidents began to occur on the power grids, which leads to mass power outages. The head of the republic, Sergey Aksenov, reported that electricity consumption in the region has increased by almost 1.5 times, which results in accidents. Krymenergo announced the introduction of restrictions on the power consumption of electricity for enterprises and legal entities in the region from July 20.
