Thousands of consumers are still without electricity.
Due to unfavorable weather phenomena (rain, gusty winds), from November 18 to November 20, 2023, emergency outages were recorded in the networks of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo». Specialists are working around the clock, but the widespread damage and persistent difficult weather conditions do not allow all violations to be eliminated at once.
Over the past 24 hours, in the Krymenergo area of responsibility, a total of 132 6-10 kV lines were de-energized, of which 116 have now been put into operation.
As of 9:00 on November 20, 2023, 16 6-10 kV power transmission lines remain de-energized, and about 8,600 consumers are without power supply. First of all, power engineers power social facilities, using RISE (backup sources of electricity supply) if necessary. Currently, 110 main and additional teams (242 people), 111 units of equipment are working to eliminate damage to networks— the power engineers report.
