Emergency in Sevastopol: gas exploded in a residential building

In Sevastopol, there is an emergency on Levanevsky, 18. Here, in a residential building, household gas exploded in one of the apartments. Part of the ceilings between the first and second floors collapsed. The area of destruction is about 50 sq.m. Now experts are disconnecting the house from utility networks (electricity, gas, water, heat). Preliminarily, there were no casualties. All residents were evacuated.
Rescuers from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Sevastopol rescue service are now dismantling the structures. 8 people, including 4 children, were evacuated from the entrance where several apartments were damaged. There is no damage on the ground floor of this building, where the children’s clinic is located. To ensure safety during work to inspect load-bearing structures, 40 people were evacuated from the clinic, including 25 children.said Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to his information, people have been offered temporary accommodation. But for now everyone has decided to stay with relatives and friends. In approximately a few hours, inspections of the premises will be completed and it will become clear whether today they will be able to return residents to apartments that were not damaged.
