Emergency in the southern coastal village of Partenit: a person died in a fire

The Crimean prosecutor’s office is checking the circumstances of the fire in an apartment building in the village of Partenit (Alushta urban district). As a result of the incident, 2 people were injured and 1 died.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a fire occurred this afternoon (at 12:32) in a house on the street. Vasilchenko, in one of the apartments located on the ground floor.
The fire on an area of 50 square meters was extinguished by 15 firefighters using 4 units of equipment. According to preliminary data, an unextinguished cigarette butt could have caused the fire. All circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being clarified.— reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
The Crimean prosecutor’s office is also conducting an investigation.
