In anticipation of the children’s health campaign, which traditionally begins in Crimean children’s camps on June 1, fire safety inspections and fire-tactical exercises are being carried out at the facilities.
Today there was a training (level 2 difficulty) for employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations at the Children’s Hospital named after A.V. Kazakevich in the Bakhchisarai region.
According to the tactical plan, in the hall, due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring, furniture caught fire on an area of 77 square meters. meters. The camp management and staff practiced calling fire extinguishing services, evacuating and extinguishing fires using primary means.
The first crews arrived at the scene of the incident and carried out a combat deployment, laying main lines and forming a fire extinguishing headquarters. GDZS units conducted reconnaissance, during which they evacuated one victim, who was unable to get out on his own due to heavy smoke. Afterwards, guns were sent to extinguish and protect neighboring rooms and floors— reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
In less than an hour, employees localized and eliminated the consequences of the “fire.” In total, 15 units of equipment and 57 specialists were involved from the RSChS, of which 11 units of equipment and 45 personnel were from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
