Master of Sports of International Class Emin Sefershaev from Simferopol (coach Sergei Popenkov) became a bronze medalist at the World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship. Competitions in three types of wrestling (Greco-Roman, freestyle and women’s) in non-Olympic weight categories are being held from October 26 to 31 in the capital of Albania, Tirana.

Emin Sefershaev stood on the podium in the up to 55 kg category.

In the 1/8 finals, our fellow countryman confidently defeated the representative of Ukraine Karyun Sagradyan (7:0), in the quarterfinals only in the last action he defeated Ishar Kurbaev from Kazakhstan (1:1), and in the semifinals (again in the last action), unfortunately , lost to Pouya Dadmarz from Iran (1:1).
