Employees of Artek, Sledkom and members of the NWO raised the tricolor over Adalary and Shalyapinskaya Rock

On the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Investigative Committee, members of the SVO and Artek employees climbed the rocks of Adalara and raised a tricolor on one of the peaks. Then, on Shalyapinskaya Rock, the participants of the patriotic action unfurled the tricolor and the flag of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation as a symbol of cooperation and friendship between the agency and ICC Artek.

The director of Artek Konstantin Fedorenko, the head of the Main Investigation Department for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Vladimir Terentyev, as well as the commanders of the unit of the 126th Separate Guards Coastal Defense Brigade, who have been at the forefront since the first day of the special military operation, took part in the patriotic action — Ilya Podoroga and Oleg Pivovarov.

The participants of the action went by boat to a large rock and with the help of climbing equipment climbed to its highest point. The national flag of the Russian Federation was solemnly raised over Adalary, symbolizing the unity of the people and the strength of the state.

These days we are celebrating the day of one of the main symbols of Russia — the day of the State Flag. This is the flag of the most powerful state in the world, which makes everyone else tremble. The most important, most real events are taking place in our country. And the fact that the world is changing today is being done under the flag of a great state, great Russia— said Vladimir Terentiev.

Participants of the special military operation also expressed their reverent attitude towards the holiday.

Each public holiday in Russia is especially unique and important for us, because it instills patriotism not only in children, but also in adults, instills pride in their homeland. And even there, at the forefront, we really feel the closeness of everyone who helps us, morally they are always with us— says Oleg Pivovarov.

An officer from Krasnoyarsk was awarded the «Gold Star» and the title of Hero of Russia for his feat.

For me, State Flag Day is a special holiday, because on February 24, 2022, I raised the flag of the Russian Federation with my fighters at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. This is a significant event— says Ilya Podoroga.

A native of Crimea and a graduate of the Perm Cadet Corps, he was awarded the Order of Courage.

For the first time, the Russian tricolor was raised over one of the main attractions of the children’s center and the southern coast of Crimea in 2014, when the peninsula returned home. Since then, the action has become one of the important traditions of Artek.

Flag Day of the Russian Federation is one of the most important holidays in our country. And it is a great honor to host not just partners, but friends of the International Children’s Center in Artek. This is the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, together with our defenders, with our heroes, who today stand at the forefront for the right to live, the right to study, the right to work in a free and sovereign country. I think this is not just a holiday for our country, the Artek holiday, a holiday for all friends. This is an event around which our whole country is explained. We unite around our President with our Russian tricolor and anthem — the main symbols of our Motherland— said the director of «Artek» Konstantin Fedorenko.

By raising the National Flag of the country together with the participants of the NWO, Artek expresses its support to our defenders, believes in our victory and is proud of Russia.
