Employees of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» came to the aid of tourists
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Yesterday at 19:30, the emergency department’s operational control panel received information that two women, having climbed Mount Karabi (in the Alushta region) in a private car, on the way back lost their bearings and did not know which direction to go. Women are scared due to the onset of darkness and unfamiliar terrain. The help of rescuers is required in their evacuation from the mountainous forest area.
Employees of the Alushta emergency rescue team of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS», having contacted the women by mobile phone and found out their approximate location, headed to the search and rescue area. Upon arrival, rescuers quickly found them at the East Suat tourist site. They did not need medical care. Then the women were escorted in a private car by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the village of Generalskoye— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Let us note that these autumn days are very busy for Alushta rescuers. Earlier, employees of the Alushta emergency rescue team of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» ensured safety during the cycling festival «Alushta Cup 2023» in the area of Mount Elkh-Kaya. 65 people took part in the event.
