Employees of the «Crimea-Spas» ennoble the commemorative places of the WWII

In 1941, the Bakhchisarai partisan detachment conducted military operations in the village of Verkhorechye (Bia-Sala), silking (coosh) and p. Chair. The residents of Chair supplied the partisans with food, transmitted intelligence on the enemy and hid the wounded in their homes. According to the denunciation of the traitors, the Nazi punitive detachment of the SS surrounded the village, its inhabitants were kicked out of their houses. The settlement was burned, and 27 of its inhabitants for contact with the partisans were shot. In 1958, a monument was erected at the mass grave

Rescuers cleansed the memorable place and the surrounding area from overgrown vegetation, dry foliage and fallen branches. The rescuers had the memory of the heroes who fell in battle by the laying of flowers and a minute of silence.

It is this monument in the tract of Chair by the decision of the local council that the Bakhchisarai ASO was assigned. The detachment employees took this burial under their constant control on their own initiative.

In addition, rescuers today carried out work on the improvement of the monument on the grave of the partisan 12 detachment of the 7th brigade of the southern connection of Crimea Vizdeta Mustafaev. His grave was discovered during the patrolling of the mountainous-leaf terrain in 2020 in a deplorable, destroyed state.

The restoration of the monument was assisted by volunteers and local residents.

Upon learning of the state of the monument, they showed the initiative, together with the rescuers, they went out to the monument and carried out work on concreting and installing a marble tablet. Now annually, our guys go to this place to honor the fighter’s memory.
