Employees of the Escort Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Republic of Crimea celebrated their professional holiday

In Simferopol, in the House of Officers, a solemn event was held dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the formation of special convoy units of the Russian penal system.

The event was attended by the heads and personnel of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, veterans of the penal system and honored guests. The leadership of the penitentiary department congratulated everyone present on their professional holiday, noting the valor, courage, fidelity to duty and Oath of the escort service employees. Special words of gratitude were expressed to the penitentiary system veterans, who today make an invaluable contribution to the education of the younger generation, generously sharing their professional knowledge and rich life experience, filled with examples of perseverance and self-sacrifice.

After the welcoming words, a solemn award ceremony took place, during which more than 40 employees and veterans were awarded departmental awards, certificates and thanks,” noted the department’s press service.

At the end of the event, a festive concert took place, at which creative groups from Crimea performed bright numbers.
