Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia returned to Sevastopol — participants in the mission to clear the territories of Donbass

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, who carried out work on demining the territories of Donbass, are met on their native land. The participants of the first business trip to the zone of the special military operation returned home — specialists from the Center for Rescue Operations of Special Risk «Leader», the Donskoy and Noginsk Rescue Centers, the Specialized Detachment of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Sevastopol. Since the beginning of April, they have been on a mission as part of a combined detachment.
The shortest way is the way home. When we entered the city, the feeling was unforgettable: I wanted to sing and dance, rejoice. Finally we saw our native places, native people, our beloved sea— shares Andrey Savchenko — a diver (sapper) of the underwater demining department of a part of pyrotechnic and special diving operations of the Specialized Detachment of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Sevastopol.
Restoring the infrastructure of the liberated regions and ensuring the safety of the civilian population directly depend on the professionalism and prompt response of sappers. The pyrotechnic detachments of the emergency department inspected power supply facilities, power lines, water conduits, bridges, overpasses, railway lines, and residential areas with particular care.
The meeting in the Sevastopol division was warm and joyful. Colleagues did not hide their emotions and greeted those who returned as true heroes. They were honored by representatives of the leadership of the Specialized Detachment and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, as well as Vasily Zubenko, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol.
The group was on a business trip for more than 80 days.
