Employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Sevastopol rescued a woman and a child blocked in an elevator

11 December, the operational duty shift of the Crisis Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol received a message that people were blocked in the elevator in one of the nine-story buildings on Prospekt Geroev Stalingrada.
The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia immediately advanced to the place: one department of the 6th fire and rescue unit, as well as employees of the emergency and rescue unit of the Specialized Detachment of the department. Upon arrival, they established: the elevator cabin stopped between the first and second floors, inside there are a woman and a child 2018 of the year of birth. Immediately, experts began rescue operations: they opened the doors with a hydraulic tool and helped people get out. They were handed over to the ambulance crew. The inspection showed that the passengers of the elevator were not injured , the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol reported.
The causes and circumstances of the incident will be established by the competent organizations. From the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia 11 personnel and 2 pieces of equipment were involved.
