Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations from Sevastopol took part in the training of pyrotechnicians and sappers

The Noginsk Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia completed the first training sessions with the chiefs (commanders) of the pyrotechnic units of the rescue military units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, including from new regions, representatives of scientific and educational organizations of the emergency department. Over 120 people took part in the event. Among them are three employees of the Specialized Squad of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the city of Sevastopol.

At the event, the results of the activities of pyrotechnic units in 2023 were summed up, instructors and methodological classes were held on the organization of medical support, work technology, the features and procedure for clearing areas using robotic demining equipment, as well as the procedure for neutralizing (destructing) explosive objects.

In addition, a scientific and practical conference was held on current issues of mine clearance, in which representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian National Guard, scientific institutions and industrial enterprises took part— said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.

At the exhibition, promising samples of equipment and property for carrying out work to search for and neutralize explosive objects, armor protection equipment and technical means for training personnel were presented.

A practical demonstration of Russian robotic demining equipment “MT-2”, RTK “Shmel”, training means for simulating explosive objects and unmanned aerial vehicles with equipment for searching for hazardous explosives was organized for the participants of the gathering. The MT-10 heavy-class mine clearance complex was presented for the first time.

Carrying out this event on an ongoing basis will allow, using practical experience, to improve the technology for carrying out pyrotechnic work, to form common approaches to organizing the training, use and comprehensive support of pyrotechnic units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
